How To Upload Files

There are three convenient ways to upload a file using ReadyRedact's Quick Redact dashboard widget:

1. Drag & Drop:

1.1: Click to select the file on your PC that you wish to upload into ReadyRedact.

1.2: Drag the file onto the QuickRedact dashboard widget.

1.3: The QuickRedact widget will automatically upload the document and begin OCR.

1.4: You can then begin to work on the document, or click Cancel should you wish to remove the file.

2. Click to Upload:

2.1: Click the Upload button in the QuickRedact widget.

2.2: Select the file you wish to upload.

2.3: The QuickRedact widget will automatically import and run OCR on the document you have selected.

2.4: You can then begin to work on the document, or click Cancel should you wish to remove the file.

3. Scan Document to Upload:

2.1: Click the Scan button in the QuickRedact widget.

2.2: ReadyRedact will connect to your scanner allowing you to proceed with your native scanning software.

2.3: The scanned document will automatically import and ReadyRedact will run OCR on the document you have selected.

2.4: You can then begin to redact the document, or click Cancel should you wish to remove the file. Click here for additional documentation on how to Scan.
