How to Use Thumbnails, Outline, Annotations and Bookmarks
You can view a document's Thumbnails, Outline, Annotations and Bookmarks by using the dropdown menu on the far left side of the Document Editor Toolbar.
1. Thumbnails:
Choose Thumbnails to view all the pages of the current document and to easily jump from page to page.
2. Outline:
If the document you are viewing has an outline, it will be shown here. You can then navigate the whole file through the outline. If the document does not include an outline, it will state No Outline as shown below.
3. Annotations:
The Annotations tab allows you to view and delete individual annotations. All annotations (i.e., drawings, shapes, highlighted text, etc.) will appear here by page number.
3.1: To view an annotation, click on the line item and the corresponding annotation will show as selected.
3.2: To delete an annotation, click on the annotation you wish to remove in the side navigation. The annotation will show as selected in the document editor screen. If the selection is correct, click the trash can icon.
3.3: You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this annotation. Choose Cancel or Delete accordingly.
4. Bookmarks:
All the bookmarks you set in the document will show in the panel under the Bookmarks tab. You can easily navigate between identified bookmarks by clicking on each one.
4.1: To add a new bookmark, click on New Bookmark.
4.2: You can then enter the name of the New Bookmark and click Save.
4.3: To edit a Bookmark, click on the edit icon to the right of the Bookmark name.
4.4: Enter a new name for the Bookmark and hit Save, or click Delete to remove the Bookmark.
